Our masks are eco friendly and are made from surplus clean fabrics. Cambaya is woven in Oaxaca and we source ours from a locally family owned business here in LA.  Each piece is processed through a high heat, high pressure machine to adhere a fusing fabric, we then add a cotton jersey liner and ear loops. (These masks are not medical grade and do Not have a filter or filter pocket.) For each individual mask purchased we are donating to frontline &  essential workers, organizations and people that are in need of masks. Proceeds are going towards paying our employees, weavers and supporting grass roots non profits that are helping feed families during this time.

(All sales are final, no refunds-no exceptions. Once a mask is purchased you are supporting one of our employees that we've paid, you are supporting our weavers in Mexico who are in desperate need, you are supporting another business that we've purchased materials from, you are donating a mask to someone in dire need and you are donating weekly to non profits that are feeding families. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for this item.)

Due to the handcrafted nature of our textiles and manufacturing your mask may not be exactly as pictured on the image. Striping, color, pattern, woven floral pattern, direction of stripes will vary mask to mask. No two are alike.

Any type of request please add under notes. We cannot fill requests with specific striping color sequences on mask. Will we do our best to fill reasonable requests but we make no guarantees and will contact you. Expedited shipping methods apply once your order has shipped not while in production. We are not responsible for stolen packages.

  • Individually handcrafted

  • Upcycled yarn & eco friendly insert

  • Made by indigenous artisans

The handmade process

It all starts with weaving yarn made from upcycled clothes. Each blanket is hand spindled and then hand woven by indigenous artisans in Mexico on old wooden looms. This is almost a lost art and is a skill that has been passed down for generations, with each family adding their own signature style of design within the weave.

Then, the piece is individually handcrafted in Los Angeles, California. Each blanket is cut specifically to fill your order – no wasted stock and each item is one of a kind!
